<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The aim of the study was to determine the differences in pathopsychological characteristics, in specific signs of deviation from the normative eating behavior and anthropometric indicators in obese persons with compulsive overeating and in obese persons without compulsive overeating, which in the future will help to develop and improve the differential diagnostic parameters for further management and treatment of such patients.</p>
<title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. Qualitative and quantitative differences in the parameters of the pathopsychological, anthropometric profiles and specific signs of deviation from the normative eating behavior in the presence of the clinical picture of obese individuals with compulsive overeating were established. Moreover, significantly greater disorders in executive functions were determined in patients of both sexes in the presence of compulsive overeating and obesity.</p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>компульсивное переедание</kwd><kwd>ожирение</kwd><kwd>нарушения пищевого поведения</kwd><kwd>лечение</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>compulsive overeating</kwd><kwd>obesity</kwd><kwd>eating disorders</kwd><kwd>treatment</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Law, S. et al.
