<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents a retrospective analysis of 2514 cases of inpatient treatment of hernias depending on the type, age of the patient and method of surgical correction (laparoendoscopic plasty, use of polypropylene mesh, tension plasty). Minimally invasive techniques were found to provide a lower complication rate, faster recovery and shorter hospitalisation despite the longer duration of surgery. The age of patients and the method of plasty have a significant impact on the outcome of treatment. A personalised approach allows optimising the choice of surgical tactics, reducing risks and improving quality of life.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>грыжа передней брюшной стенки</kwd><kwd>герниопластика</kwd><kwd>осложнения</kwd><kwd>рецидив</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>anterior abdominal wall hernia</kwd><kwd>hernioplasty</kwd><kwd>complications</kwd><kwd>recurrence</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Ботезату, А.
