Известно, что варикозное расширение вен нижних конечностей в различных его проявлениях поражает до восьмидесяти процентов населения в целом, а практика клинического лечения во всем мире неоднородна. Отсутствует единый набор окончательных рекомендаций, что делает клиническую практику чрезвычайно неоднородной.

Introduction: Varicose veins of the lower extremities in their various manifestations affect up to 80% of the general population, and clinical treatment practice is heterogeneous worldwide. There is no single set of definitive recommendations, making clinical practice extremely heterogeneous.
