Проведено стоматологическое обследование 97 детей с фенилкетонурией в возрасте от 2 до 18 лет; оценены прирост интенсивности кариеса зубов, изменение гигиенического состояния полости рта и тканей периодонта в ходе проведения лечебных и профилактических мероприятий в течение двух лет у данной группы пациентов. Статистический анализ данных выполнен в программе Statistica 10.0 с использованием критерия хи-квадрат χ2, критерия Манна-Уитни, t-критерия Стьюдента. В результате проведения лечебных и профилактических мероприятий у детей с фенилкетонурией значимо улучшились основные показатели стоматологического статуса: прирост интенсивности кариеса зубов у детей профилактической группы был значимо ниже такового пациентов в группе сравнения. Уровень гигиены полости рта и состояние тканей периодонта у детей, выполнявших все рекомендации врачастоматолога, через 24 месяца после начала наблюдения значимо улучшились, уровень стоматологической помощи превысил 90%.

Dental examination of 97 children with phenylketonuria aged from 2 to 18 years was carried out; the increasing intensity of tooth decay, dynamic changes in the condition of oral hygiene as well as periodontal status were assessed during dental treatment and 2-year preventive measures implementation in this group of children.The data were analyzed by means of the program Statistica 10.0 utilizing the χ2-test, U-Mann-Whitney and t-Student test. As a result of dental treatment and preventive measures in children with phenylketonuria, the main indicators of dental status significantly improved: the increase in the intensity of dental caries in the children of the preventive group was significantly lower than that of patients in the test group. The level of oral hygiene and the condition of periodontal tissues in children who followed all the recommendations of a dentist, have significantly improved in 24 months after the onset of observation, the level of dental care exceeded up to 90%.
