Study of microbial contamination in the sleeping arrangements of consequential service personnel

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to study the microbiological contamination of air and environmental objects in sleeping areas of barracks for conscripts. Air samples and surface swabs were collected in the morning, afternoon and evening at different times of the year. The results were compared. Conclusions were made about the highest air contamination in the evening, in winter the air contamination is higher, the lowest level of surface contamination is in the evening, reaching its maximum in the morning, within a week the contamination of air and surfaces doubles from the moment of «general» cleaning.
