Estimation of efficiency of complex treatment alcohol withdrawal syndrome taking into account markers of hepato-biliary system

Abstract

Markers of the biochemical state of alcohol dependence can give clinicians objective data on the consequences of drinking alcohol or contribute to optimal treatment control. The article presents data from the study. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of methods of normoxic therapeutic compression (NТC) and hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) in combination with standardized drug therapy (SDT) in stopping alcohol withdrawal syndrome based on biological markers of alcohol intoxication. Three groups of patients in a state of moderate alcohol withdrawal were examined. Two comparison groups received SDT in combination with NТC and HBO, one group only SDT. The general biological markers of alcohol intoxication were investigated. Some specific tendencies of influence on the dynamics of the levels of biochemical markers of alcoholization in alcohol withdrawal syndrome against the background of the use of oxygen therapy methods in the complex treatment of alcohol withdrawal syndrome are identified, compared with standardized methods of pharmacotherapy.
