Abstract

Diabetic foot syndrome is one of the most common complications of diabetes mellitus, often leading to severe consequences due to neurological disorders and a decrease in main blood flow due to atherosclerosis in the arteries of the lower extremities. The severity of these complications and the difficulty of their treatment make it necessary to carry out the earliest possible and accurate diagnosis of emerging pathological processes. It is noted that the main role in the diagnostic process belongs to instrumental methods.

The technologies for applying each of the methods are briefly presented, their advantages and disadvantages are outlined. Timely application in practice of available diagnostic methods can help reduce the number of high amputations, reduce the volume of resected foot fragments.
