Presents general information on firearms and injuries from the use of gunshot injury.The main types of weapons, the mechanism of gunshot injuries described interesting cases of gunshot wounds of the forensic medical expert practice. Special attention is paid to the description of accidents in hunting, in an accessible form set out the events that actually took place, when the mishandling of weapons, or a fatal combination of circumstances was the cause of inflicting serious injury or fatal gunshot wounds. The statistics of accidents in hunting the necessity of strict compliance with the rules of use of firearms and ammunition. The article has a specific practical and preventive value.
