Simulation training anesthesiology and intensive care

Abstract

The most important task of training in medical school – training of specialists in charge of practical public health requirements. Currently, the training stimulus is becoming a mandatory component of training. It is based on modeling professional activity provides an opportunity for each student to repeatedly perform the elements of medical activities in accordance with accepted professional standards. This allows them to study the reaction to the situation, so as they would do in real life. Implementation of a simulation staged training of anesthesiology and intensive care enables pupils to more effectively learn the theory and practice of anesthesia and intensive care patients in a critical or terminal condition. Also, the organization of training significantly increases the objectivity of evaluation of students and their motivation to learn. The article describes the motivation and the general principles of organization of a simulation training at the department of anesthesiology and intensive care at the Belarusian State Medical University.
