Presents the data on the properties of blood research in connection with practical needs of health care and forensic expert investigations. It is showed the importance of blood as the biological material in the maintenance of human vitality and assess its «footprints» in the practice of forensic medical examination in connection with criminal events. Diapazon of styding the blood properties and blood traces on the site of the alleged crimes is constantly expanding, becoming more scientific, which has leg to the use of gets results in the part of the evidence base. The above material is supported by practic examples, that makes the presentation interesting. The article has a specific scientific and practical importance.
