Mineral status of patients with chronic pancreatitis in the dynamics of stationary treatment
Abstract
Protein-energy deficiency develops in patients with chronic pancreatitis as a result of pain and dyspeptic syndromes. Protein-energy deficiency is caused by a deficiency in the diet not only macronutrients (proteins, fats, carbohydrates), but also micronutrients. Insufficient magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, potassium in the diet and the dynamics of their levels in biological fluids (blood, urine) testified to their insufficient supply of patients with chronic pancreatitis during stationary treatment.
