Substantiation of possibility of practical application of tourniquet TKB-1 as a multifunctional means of individual medical equipment military personnel

Abstract

The hemostatic tourniquets are a mandatory component of the individual medical equipment of the soldiers of various armies of the world. Their main purpose is to stop heavy bleeding in a dangerous tactical zone (under enemy fire) and in the shelter area, after which the tourniquets are replaced with more gentle methods of hemostasis. The design of the tourniquet TKB-1 allows you to use this device including for other first aid techniques, which allows you to increase the speed and efficiency of first aid on the battlefield without expanding the list of individual equipment of soldiers.
