Vacuum therapy in the treatment of the wounds. Modern tendencies
Abstract
The problem of chronic wounds in recent times is one of the most urgent in modern surgery. Due to increase of morbidity and performance of surgical interventions, the number of patients with wound defects of various genesis is increasing. Negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT) is one of the new and promising methods of local treatment. This article describes the latest data on the use of negative-pressure wound therapy both in the experiment and in the clinic.
