The specificity of a clinical course of pertussis and approaches to its therapy

Abstract

One of the most common among all vaccine – controlled infections of childhood is pertussis – an acute infectious disease accompanied by an attack-like cough.
The urgency of the problem of pertussis infection is due not only to the level of morbidity, but also to the increase in the share of adolescents and adults in its structure.
The article presents data on the features of the clinical course of pertussis at the present stage, as well as the evolution of approaches to its therapy. Scientific studies on the clinical manifestations of whooping cough a little.
However, in the evolution of pertussis infection, clinical manifestations of the disease have acquired some features.
