The development of road transport, energy, industry and service sector in the country inevitably leads to the use of machines and mechanisms containing oil lubricants in their composition as lubricants. These products after their routine use are quite harmful to the environment and, consequently, to human health. Under the influence of the undeveloped system for collecting, transporting and processing used motor and industrial petroleum oils, ever larger volumes of valuable secondary raw materials will be burned uncontrollably, pouring to the ground, which will inevitably lead to deterioration in people‘s health, poisoning of soil and water bodies [7]. The estimation of the dynamics of formation, accumulation and use of used oils, the effect of burning spent oils on human health; the requirements for the collection and storage of used oils in the Republic of Belarus have been studied.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) remain the main cause of disability and mortality in many countries in the world. Among the CVD, hypertension (AH) and ischemic heart disease (IHD) are most common. The effectiveness of preventing CVD directly depends on how timely and accurately the risk factors (FR) are identified that contribute to the occurrence of heart and vascular diseases, this risk is assessed, and how early the prevention will be started. Modifiable (variable) factors of cardiovascular risk (CVR) include: hypertension, smoking, hypodynamia, obesity, stress. In order to study the incidence of CVR factors, a one-stage epidemiological study was conducted among 625 office workers using the example of one of the banking institutions of the Republic of Belarus. Analysis of the modified factors of CVR in the employees of the office enterprise showed their high prevalence: the level of SBP is more than 140/90 mm Hg. Art. revealed in 36.64% of individuals, of whom 78–77% of persons had an AH history; smoking was detected in 20.48%; obesity – in 19.84%; a low level of physical activity – in 61.44%.
In order to prevent CVD, it seems necessary to develop measures in organized labor collectives aimed at correcting these CVR factors, as well as to increase the responsibility of workers themselves for the appearance of those risk factors that are associated with their lifestyle.

In Belarus since 1999 year a staff of RSPC of traumatology and orthopaedics Ministry of Health (Republic of Belarus) and Institution of powder metallurgy within the scope of «Medical and diagnostic technologies» (partition «Surgery») conducted complex of researches and engineering of porous titanic implants of two types, which allow not only completely substitute allo- and autotransplants, but improve surgical technology of interbody spondylodesis. In Republican centre of spinal column surgery (RSPC of traumatology and orthopaedics) for last 10 years fulfilled more than 300 complicated high-technology surgical interferences on the occasion of tumours and tumor-like diseases of spinal column, also more than 4000 operations on the occasion of injuries of spinal column. Native implants for spinal column surgery successfully introduced in clinical practice for last years. At the same time completely satisfied indigence of Byelorussian public health in such metalwares.
The risk factors for the formation of hypotonic and infectious postpartum endometritis have been justified, and a table has been developed for predicting the risk of their occurrence. To substantiate the risk factors for infectious postpartum endometritis, a comparative retrospective clinical and statistical study of risk factors in the groups of puerperas was performed: (1) (58 patients) with infectious postpartum endometritis and the 2nd (58 puerperas) group comparison with the normal course of labor and the postpartum period. To justify the risk factors for hypotonic postpartum endometritis, we conducted comparative retrospective clinical and statistical studies in the 3rd (56 patients) with hypotonic and the same 2nd comparison group with normal delivery and postpartum period. The study was carried out with the help of a consistent statistical analysis of Wald, the definition of Kulbak's information measure. Pathognomonic risk factors for infectious postpartum endometritis have been identified: chronic or transferred inflammatory urogenital diseases, chorioamnionitis clinic, growth of pathogenic flora more than 1×104 cfu/ml (sowing from the cervical canal during pregnancy), emergency cesarean section, prolonged anhydrous time interval, a combination with a purulent colpitis. Pathognomonic risk factors for hypotonic postpartum endometritis have been determined: sexual infantilism; birth after ancillary reproductive technologies; subinvolution of the uterus in previous births; anemia and / or severe gestosis; protracted labor; weakness of labor activity, not corrected by drug stimulation; violation of separation afterbirth; hypotension of the uterus in the postpartum period; hypotonic bleeding.
The given article sets forth the experience of carrying out a videotoracoscopic biopsy of a lymph node of interlobar fissure for 62 patients with disseminated lung diseases and intrathoracic lymphadenopathy with the differential diagnosis purpose. The aerostasis has been achieved with 37 of these patients with the help of a biological glue «Fibrinostat», that was used for this purpose according to the procedure developed by the authors. It has been pointed out the advantages of the presented method of aerostasis, including the simplicity of execution, atraumaticity for the lung tissue, surrounding a defect, absence of side effects and complications during intrapleural injection of a biological glue «Fibrinostat». It has been demonstrated a high efficiency of the proposed method of aerogemolymphostasis execution in a biopsy zone and the decrease, in this connection, in the frequency of development of prolonged insufficiency of aerostasis during postsurgical period as well as purulent-inflammatory pulmonary-pleural complications, involved herein.
REVIEWS AND LECTURES
Lactational mastitis is an inflammation of the mammary gland in the postpartum period against lactation. Usually the disease occurs in the first 2–3 weeks after delivery. Mastitis is more common in primiparous women. For a long time the incidence of mastitis remains high and has no tendency to decrease. About 5% of mastitis in women is not associated with pregnancy and childbirth. As a rule, non-lactational mastitis develops in women aged 15 to 60 years.
In this review article, in the analysis of the English-language literature of 2017–2018, the role of green and blue spaces of nature in improving the microclimate and design of cities and improving the city-dwellers’ health and psychoemotional state is presented. The urgency of the problem is underlined WHO recommendations, which again noted in 2017 that WHO considered a strategic objective the prevention of chronic noncommunicable diseases among citydwellers, including by means of additional creation of green and blue urban areas that support health and wellbeing, easily accessible to residents of various city’s districts. Increasing physical activity, relaxation and interpersonal interaction as a result of regular visits to the green and blue oases of any city are the main non-medical improvement of the health and psycho-emotional state of all city-dwellers regardless of gender, age and health status.
One of the most common among all vaccine – controlled infections of childhood is pertussis – an acute infectious disease accompanied by an attack-like cough.
The urgency of the problem of pertussis infection is due not only to the level of morbidity, but also to the increase in the share of adolescents and adults in its structure.
The article presents data on the features of the clinical course of pertussis at the present stage, as well as the evolution of approaches to its therapy. Scientific studies on the clinical manifestations of whooping cough a little.
However, in the evolution of pertussis infection, clinical manifestations of the disease have acquired some features.
The presented review discusses monomodal and polymodal factors of a green nature, responsible for the possible effects of human presence in the forest, park and other green spaces surrounding person. Most of data obtained in recent years mainly international teams of researches using modern diagnostic techniques, and those included in the analysis are conclusive. With regular walks in the forest with a pleasant design, participants of forest therapy programs are noted to mobilize possible psychological and physiological reserves, protective factors of the organism (including cancer killer cells). There is a decrease in the cortisol concentration in the body, psychoemotional stress, validations of autonomic regulation of blood pressure, heart rhythm, and a decrease of the risk of developing non-infectious chronic diseases, including mental, cardiovascular, metabolic and certain types of cancer. Efficacy for individuals of short stay in the forest atmosphere was e[pressed those more, the more deviations of the analyzed parameters of the pre-treatment, and persisted for several days or weeks.
Thus, the further development and wide use of forest therapy can turn it into a strategy of preventive medicine with improvement of somatic, mental health and psychoemotional state of the population of large cities.
The development of medical materials provides doctors and patients with more and more high-quality and affordable means for the successful treatment of various diseases. A wide range of biomaterials has been developed for reconstructive interventions in maxillofacial surgery. The article provides a data analysis of domestic and foreign literature devoted to the experimental, laboratory and clinical aspects of using barrier membranes in guided tissue regeneration.
The presented data provides a brief history of the GTR. Analyzed and reduced to common indications for the method, requirements for the materials used in periodontology, implantology, surgical dentistry.
The shortcomings of the concept and possible ways of their elimination are highlighted. In addition, the need for further research based on biotechnology is shown. Defects in the bone tissue of the jaws, after removal of teeth, root cysts, benign tumors, reduce the strength of the bone structure, worsen the conditions for the functioning of the teeth, complicate prosthetics and lead to aesthetic deformities.
CASE FROM PRACTICE
The article describes a case of successful surgical treatment of a complete transverse retroperitoneal rupture of the duodenum 1, 5 cm below the confluence of a large duodenal papilla, which is combined with rupture of the mesentery of the colon with necrosis of its right past. It is emphasized that the timely diagnosis of traumatic injuries of the duodenum requires consideration of the features of the development of clinical manifestations of peritonitis, depending on the extent of its damage, the severity of inflammatory process in the retroperitoneal space and the preservation of the integrity of the posterior parietal peritoneum. Attention is paid to the fact that the optimal variant of the operation with complete transverse rupture of the duodenum at the level of the location of the large duodenal papilla in case of not timely hospitalization of the injured person is the restoration of the passage of duodenal contents into the small intestine, with the exclusion of passage of gastric contents into the gut (gastric disconnect) and temporary external drainage of biliary tract (cholecystostomy).
